About Blackhawk:

BlackHawk is an American country music group known for their rich harmonies, powerful songwriting, and emotionally resonant sound that blends traditional country with rock and pop influences. Formed in the early 1990s, the original trio consisted of Henry Paul (formerly of the Outlaws), Dave Robbins, and Van Stephenson—three seasoned musicians and songwriters who brought their distinct talents together to create something unique in the country music landscape.

The band burst onto the scene in 1994 with their self-titled debut album, which produced a string of hit singles including “Goodbye Says It All,” “Every Once in a While,” “I Sure Can Smell the Rain,” and “That’s Just About Right.” Their seamless blend of tight vocal harmonies, heartfelt lyrics, and radio-friendly hooks earned them widespread acclaim and a loyal fan base.

Tragedy struck in 2001 when Van Stephenson passed away after a battle with melanoma, but BlackHawk continued on in his honor. Henry Paul and Dave Robbins have kept the band’s legacy alive with new music, consistent touring, and a dedication to the group’s signature sound.

Over the decades, BlackHawk has released numerous albums and maintained a strong presence in country music, both as hitmakers and as a compelling live act. Their music speaks to love, loss, and life’s deeper moments—all delivered with sincerity and soaring harmonies.
