About Cole Swindell:

Cole Swindell is a country music singer and songwriter known for blending radio-ready hooks with emotional storytelling and small-town charm. Born on June 30, 1983, in Glennville, Georgia, Swindell first gained recognition not as a performer, but as a hit songwriter behind the scenes. He attended Georgia Southern University, where he became close friends with Luke Bryan—an early connection that would help shape his career.

After college, Swindell moved to Nashville and worked as a merchandise seller on Luke Bryan’s tour while honing his craft as a songwriter. His early writing credits include hits for Bryan, Craig Campbell, Thomas Rhett, and Florida Georgia Line. In 2013, Swindell released his breakout independent single, “Chillin’ It,” which quickly went viral and earned him a deal with Warner Music Nashville.

His self-titled debut album arrived in 2014 and produced a string of hit singles, including “Hope You Get Lonely Tonight,” “Ain’t Worth the Whiskey,” and “Let Me See Ya Girl.” Swindell’s knack for blending upbeat party tracks with heartfelt ballads helped him stand out as a versatile new voice in country.

He followed up with You Should Be Here in 2016, a more mature album that featured the emotional title track written in memory of his late father. The song became one of his biggest hits, resonating deeply with fans and showcasing his growth as both a writer and artist. Other hits from the project included “Middle of a Memory” and “Flatliner,” a duet with Dierks Bentley.

Swindell has continued to deliver chart-toppers with songs like “Love You Too Late,” “Single Saturday Night,” and the multi-week No. 1 hit “She Had Me at Heads Carolina,” a reimagining of the Jo Dee Messina classic. His 2022 album Stereotype further solidified his place in modern country music.

With multiple No. 1 singles, platinum records, and a reputation for heartfelt lyrics and high-energy live shows, Cole Swindell has grown from songwriter-for-hire to one of country’s most consistent hitmakers.
