About Eli Young Band:

Eli Young Band is an American country music group formed in 2000 in Tyler, Texas, consisting of Mike Eli (lead vocals, guitar), Jon Jones (bass guitar, vocals), Chris Thompson (lead guitar, vocals), and James Young (drums, vocals). The band began their career with the independently released album Jerry’s Song in 2000, followed by Level in 2003, establishing an early foundation in the Texas country music scene. They later signed with Carnival Records, releasing Live at Flipnotics in 2004 before their major-label debut, Jet Black & Jealous, in 2008. This album included singles such as “When It Rains” and “Always the Love Songs,” which introduced the band to a wider country radio audience.

The group achieved mainstream commercial success with their 2011 album Life at Best, which featured the No. 1 singles “Crazy Girl” and “Even If It Breaks Your Heart,” both of which reached the top of the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart. Their follow-up album, 10,000 Towns (2014), produced additional hits including “Drunk Last Night” and “Dust,” solidifying the band’s presence in contemporary country music. In 2017, the band released Fingerprints, featuring the single “Saltwater Gospel,” and in 2019 they released the compilation This Is Eli Young Band: Greatest Hits, highlighting their chart successes and career milestones.

Throughout their career, Eli Young Band has toured extensively across the United States and internationally, performing at festivals, arenas, and major country music venues. Their discography reflects a consistent output of studio albums and singles, combining lyrical storytelling with melodic instrumentation, and contributing to over a decade of charting country hits.
