Blake Shelton is an American country music singer, songwriter, and television personality, widely recognized for his deep baritone voice, chart-topping hits, and charismatic presence on and off stage. Born on June 18, 1976, in Ada, Oklahoma, Shelton began singing at a young age and moved to Nashville in his late teens to pursue a career in music.
He released his debut single, "Austin," in 2001, which spent five weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart and launched him into national stardom. Since then, Shelton has released over a dozen studio albums and scored numerous No. 1 hits including "God Gave Me You," "Honey Bee," "Boys 'Round Here," and "God's Country."
