About Brandon Rhyder:

Brandon Rhyder is a Texas country singer-songwriter known for his soulful vocals, honest songwriting, and deep roots in the Red Dirt music scene. Born and raised in Carthage, Texas, Rhyder started singing in church before picking up a guitar in college, eventually launching a music career that made him a standout voice in the Texas country movement.

He released his debut album Because She Loves Me in 2001, followed by several acclaimed records including Conviction (2005), Every Night (2008), and Head Above Water (2010). With hits like “Rock Angel,” “Before I Knew Your Name,” and “Freeze Frame Time,” Rhyder earned multiple No. 1 songs on the Texas charts and became a staple on regional radio and festival stages.

Known for his smooth delivery and introspective lyrics, Rhyder’s music blends traditional country, folk, and Southern rock influences. After taking a break from recording to focus on family, he returned in 2017 with a self-titled album produced by longtime collaborator Walt Wilkins, offering a mature, heartfelt collection of songs that marked a new chapter in his career.

A respected live performer, Rhyder has toured extensively across the U.S., both with his band and as a solo acoustic act. He remains a key figure in the Texas music scene, admired for his authenticity, consistency, and passion for storytelling.
