TBDAbout Casey Donahew:
Casey Donahew is a Texas country (Red Dirt) singer-songwriter celebrated for his heartfelt lyrics, energetic live performances, and fiercely independent career. Born April 21, 1977, in Burleson, Texas, Donahew began writing songs in high school and taught himself guitar in college before launching into local bar circuits around 2002.
He released his first independent albums (Lost Days, Moving On) in the 2000s, steadily building a devoted fanbase in Texas and Oklahoma. Major breakthroughs came with Double‑Wide Dream (2011), reaching No. 10 on Billboard’s Country Albums chart, and Standoff (2013), which hit No. 7. In 2016, All Night Party climbed to No. 3 on Country Albums, and One Light Town (2019) debuted at No 2 on Country Album Sales. His latest LP, Never Not Love You (2024), continues his chart success.
Casey is known for songs that balance humor and heartbreak—from redneck anthems like “White Trash Story” to sensitive cuts like “Kiss Me”, his first charting single in 2017.
A relentless touring artist, he frequently sells out venues across the U.S., including repeat performances at Billy Bob’s Texas in Fort Worth. In recognition of his impact, Fort Worth declared “Casey Donahew Day” and adopted his fan-favorite “Stockyards” as the official song of the Stockyards district.
Signed to his own Almost Country Entertainment, Donahew epitomizes grit and independence, self-releasing eight+ albums to date.
Off stage, he’s known for community spirit—honoring military veterans with free tickets and helping schoolteachers via “Clear the List” supply efforts. Married to his longtime manager-wife Melinda, they’ve built a family-first music business from the ground up
